Particularly during the busy months of late spring through early fall, it’s a good idea to make reservations for certain things. Popular restaurants like Café Beaujolais, Trillium and Fog Eater Cafe can fill up fast even on weekdays. The Skunk Train is also popular and good to book ahead. Other reservations you might want to make include sea kayak adventures, canoe or bike rentals, or harbor tours. It’s also advisable to buy tickets in advance for the Mendocino film and music festival which take place in June and July respectively.
